Auditions for FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS
The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves will be holding non equity/nonpaying auditions for Five Women Wearing the Same Dress by Alan Ball (who also created American Beauty, HBO's Six Feet Under, and Showtime's True Blood), January 13, 2009 @ 7pm. Parts available for 1 man (late 20s) & 5 women (20s-mid 30s) . Show dates: March 6-8, 12-15 (Possible private performances March 19-22). Cold Reading from the script. No appointment required. Bring headshot/resume. Directed by Deb Dennert. SYNOPSIS: During an ostentatious wedding reception, five reluctant, identically clad bridesmaids hide out in an upstairs bedroom, each with her own reason to avoid the proceedings below. As the afternoon wears on, these five very different women joyously discover a common bond. Located at 517 Theatre Lane, Webster Groves, MO 63119.
